She is a strict and loving mom and wife who clearly wants the best for her children, but her tendency to disapprove of everything she finds unproductive has led to Miko becoming very disconnected from the family, which in turn has led to her forcing Miko to spend time with her siblings whether they like it or not.

Miko Kubota

She is her middle daughter and Mayumi loves her just like all her kids. Miko dislikes how her mom is strict with her with doing something more "proactive" and doesn't show support for her love for video games. Despite this, they both love each other, becoming closer after Miko is given her job at Hinobi.

Lexi Kubota

She is her youngest daughter and Mayumi loves her just like all her kids. She tried to cheer up Lexi by taking her to get some frosty freezes in Karate Trainer.

She is her older daughter and Mayumi loves her just like all her kids. Mayumi is very demanding toward her kids to get along and spent time together especially, towards Nica and Miko.

Trivia

• Mayumi once told Miko that she bought her a blouse at Bullseye, which is apparently a play on the department store Target.
• While confiscating Miko's console and gaming supplies for disobeying her, she appears to have a wristband on her.
  • It neither appears to be a watch nor a wool wristband. Perhaps she could be one of Hinobi's secret agents since she might have an alternate or older model of a Hinobi wristband.
  • Not to mention she eventually immediately approved Miko's offer to work for Hinobi.
  • This could explain why she was unwilling to let Miko join the Smash Jab Tournament since she might've been worried about Miko's safety, since she could've been attacked by a glitch which almost did happened.
